National Parents Council Primary

If your child is aged 4 - 12 and you have questions about your child in school, www.ncp.ie can support you. They will provide a drop in service in your area and limited translation services will be available. Details of when they will be in your area will be available in your local Library, Citizen's Information Centre, Health Centre and on the website. The website will provide general information on the National Parents Council Primary, it will support parents through information to become more involved in their child's education and it will provide other useful information regarding their child in primary school. The information initially will be available in four languages, Russian, Chinese, French and Arabic with a fifth language, yet to be determined, coming on stream at a later date.

To address the more individual information and support needs that parents may have, NPC have launched the mobile drop-in Information service. This service operates on a rotational basis out of a number of schools in the Dublin 15 area and also once a month in the Blanchardstown Citizens Information offices. This service will be open for one half day a week and will have a translator available to support parents to access the information and advice they require.
